What stays on your device
- Your music library, playlists, and listening metadata (play counts, last played) are stored locally using Apple's SwiftData framework, inside this app's private storage area.
- Files you import (from Files, AirDrop, Wi-Fi Transfer, or your Apple Music library) are copied into that same private storage area. Nothing is uploaded anywhere.
- Wi-Fi Transfer runs a temporary web server on your device, and only while that screen is open. Files travel directly from your computer to your device across your own local network. They do not pass through the internet or through us, and the server stops the moment you leave the screen.
What Apple sees, on our behalf, because it's part of the operating system
- Crash and performance reports, if you have diagnostics sharing enabled in iOS Settings, go to Apple via MetricKit. We can view aggregate, anonymized reports in Xcode Organizer. We cannot identify you from them.
- Aggregate, anonymized install and usage statistics are available to us through App Store Connect, exactly as they are for every app on the App Store.
Because there are no accounts and no servers, there is nothing for us to export or delete on your behalf. Any data that exists, exists only on your device (and, if you enable a future iCloud sync feature, in your own private iCloud account, which we cannot read).
